An RTI application was filed with Kerala Coastal Zone Management Authority seeking a response to the below queries:-

1) Kindly mention the recorded reasons and copies of the rules or orders based on which the document file identification-of-violations.pdf mentioned on the website http://keralaczma.gov.in is removed from the website.
2) Please provide a list mentioning the names of the technological tools and
software used by Kerala Coastal Zone Management Authority for gathering,
managing, and analyzing data with respect to Coastal Zone Management as on date.
3) kindly mention the technical qualifications of people employed by Kerala
Coastal Zone Management Authority who are responsible for technological and software tools in your organization as on date.
4) Please mention the recorded reasons and copies of the rules or orders based on which the section “Coastal Zone Maps” does not have the map of Ernakulam in your website http://keralaczma.gov.in/sub/ekm.php
5) Kindly mention the recorded reasons based on which geographical maps
provided on your website http://keralaczma.gov.in is not in digital format in keeping with latest GIS technologies.

The primary objective of the RTI was to get a response from the Kerala Coastal Zone Management Authority on why the document file identification-of-violations.pdf mentioned on the website is missing from the http://keralaczma.gov.in website.

The secondary objective of the RTI was to understand whether the Kerala CZMA utilizes technological tools including GIS, software and hardware to gather, manage and analyse data with respect to coastal zone management.
